They have started putting the tops on the windows, and say it will be finished early next week.
The roofers were busy this week stripping off the roof. The stucture needs reinforcing and repairing in places.
We now have scaffolding at the front. I think they plan to start on the roof next week. The stone work at the back is now up to the bottom of the first floor windows.
The block work replacement wall is now complete, showing where the windows on the first floor will be. It also holding up the roof so we can remove the scaffolding from inside. The stone work facing the block work is … Continue reading
The first of the sills has been installed, and the stone work continues to be rebuilt.
