Welcome
to the website of Johnby Hall,
a Tudor manor house built onto a
fourteenth-century pele tower, situated in the tranquil heart of rural
Cumbria, on the north-east edge of the Lake
District National Park.

The
house was bought
by the 10th Duke of Norfolk in 1783 and has
remained in the Howard
family ever since. It is now home
to Henry and Anna
Howard and their
young family.
Whether
you want to stay
a week and explore the sights
of Cumbria,
or are just spending a night on
your
way to or from Scotland, Henry and Anna are delighted to welcome you
into their home for bed
and breakfast.

~ a self-contained open plan
conversion on two levels in a seventeenth/ eighteenth-century cottage
adjacent to
the main house. Available for bed and breakfast as a double or twin suite. It is also suitable for a family of up to two adults and two children (over five). Young babies also welcome. |
