Thanks for posting this; as soon as I grasped the extent of the flooding I wondered how you and Caecelia and the goats were doing; it’s nice to know you are all OK. Still, I am very sad for all the people of Cockermouth whose homes and businesses have been wrecked by these torrential downpours and for the poor policeman who lost his life when a bridge was washed away… big love to all xxx
I think that’s what Tiffany Aching’s father used to call Tiffany when she was a young girl (Terry Pratchett reference…)
Goaty
(obvious, I know…)
Crivens?
Crivens is only going to be a good name if you anticipate him doing tonnes of naughty stuff; that way everytime you have to call out to him to stop doing things, it will seem like you are exclaiming ‘Crivens!!’ and save you the bother of exclaiming AND shouting out. You can do it all in the one word. But if you think he is going to be a little angel, it mightn’t work so well.
I loved meeting you and visiting your wondrous wool room! I still think happily of the spiced apple cake and of the gorgeous mitered knitting you were doing.
Flood at Work Update
November 24th, 2009 at 7:23 amThis looks dreadful… I’ve been watching the news again and wondering how everyone in Cockermouth is going to recover from the floods.
I hope you have good cover etc. for your business and that you are able to carry on with your work while the place is cleaned up.
